Sahara Cap for additional sun protection for all sunny outdoor activities. Provides optimum protection against the sun with an additional UV treatment. Venting panels allow heat to escape and the removable Saharan flap protects the neck.
Constructed from UPF50 fabrics, the Sahara Cap, as its name suggests..., was developed for desert races like the Marathon des Sables, 4 Deserts etc. A large peak helps create shade for the face and the "Sahara" or "legionnaires" neck flap is adjustable to fix onto the peak for maximum protection, part way to still cover the ears, or fully removable for use as a normal run cap. For long hair, we have provided a pony tail hole at the back above the drawcord adjuster. There is also a pocket on the top of the hat where you can store the neck flap if you want to.
